Francesco Molinari starts the
2019 season as the Race to Dubai champion.
And his defense of the title won last year starts from the
WGC Mexico Championship of golf.
"I feel very well", said the Turin-born golf champion who is
ready to resume his season on the green.
"I will try to defend the success of the Race to Dubai in the
best way".
Molinari in November last year crowned a magnificent season
when he won the European Tour's coveted Race to Dubai.
"A repeat will not be easy, with a season that is set to be
long and challenging".
"I want to improve without focusing only and exclusively on
the objective of results".
On the eve of the first of four events of the World Golf
Championship, the mini world circuit, the Italian player is
ready in Mexico City to resume his race to establish himself
among the world's best players.
The flu forced him to skip last week the Genesis Open (PGA
Tour).
Molinari said it was a "minor inconvenience" but he is "fine"
now and can't wait to start and "mean business"
