Facebook Italia on Thursday made
peace with the Italian tax man.
The company has just signed an accord closing its disputes
with the Agenzia delle Entrate tax-collection agency over the
2010-2016 period.
Facebook will pay over 100 million euros to do so.
A Facebook spokesman said "we are acting in compliance with
the local laws in Italy and in all the countries in which we
operate and we will continue to collaborate with all the Italian
authorities.
"We are proud of our commitment to Italy to spur the growth
of local businesses and the digital ecosystem as a whole".
