Italian scratch cards are to
carry a health warning, according to a decree just published in
the Official Gazette.
The warning, "this game damages your health", is part of
anti-gambling-addiction moves by the government.
As part of the campaign, the government will also launch an
anti-slot-machine logo, " No Slot", under warnings to be put up
in public places.
Gambling addiction has soared in Italy since a long recession
sparked by the 2008 financial crisis.
