Pope Francis during his
pastoral visit to the United States next month will use a Jeep
Wrangler as his 'popemobile,' a similar vehicle to the one used
by the pontiff last month in Ecuador, the Washington Post
newspaper reported Friday.
The automobile, produced by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
(FCA), now is in the hands of the American Secret Service, the
Post said citing the Vatican.
How the Jeep will be equipped exactly is not yet clear,
just as details of when exactly Francis will use the vehicle
during his trip to Washington, New York and Philadelphia have
not yet been disclosed.
