Several topless Femen
protestors were detained by police in St Peter's Square on
Friday. The protest seems to have been against Pope Francis'
visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg on November 25.
The women had "the pope is not a politician" written on their
breasts. The radical feminist Paris-based group is famous for a
series of controversial topless protests against sex tourism,
religious institutions, sexism, homophobia and other issues in
recent years.
