Immigrants in Rome have
attacked two buses driven by two women in outlying areas in two
days.
Two immigrants were beaten up by angry residents in a
reprisal after the second episode on the eastern outskirts of
the city Sunday night.
One of the drivers went on national TV to appeal for
greater security after her bus's windows were smashed with
stones and bottles.
It is not clear why the immigrants attacked the buses.
