European Commissioner for Energy
Guenther Oettinger on Friday said there will be no shortages of
gas in the EU at least until the end of May as a result of
tensions with Russia over the crisis in Ukraine.
Oettinger was speaking after a meeting in Warsaw with
energy ministers from Russia and Ukraine.
Europe depends on Russia for most of its gas needs.
