Premier Giorgia Meloni may visit Tripoli to help announce the investment in the Libyan energy sector amid the Ukraine war, it said.
It will take about three and a half years to develop the two oilfields that are the subject of the investment, said Bengdara.
"The energy sector has not seen an investment of this scope for more than a quarter of a century," he said.
"It is a clear message to the international business community that the Libyan state has overcome its phase of political risks". (ANSA).
