words, attributed to Bezalel Smotrich, Israeli Minister of
Finance in Benjamin Netanyahu's government, and leading figure
of religious Zionism, appear destined to spark outrage in
Israel. These affirmations are part of a private conversation
that took place some months ago, but the taped conversation was
circulated now by Kan TV.
The recorded conversation has Smotrich explain that his supporters know that he is against the LGBT movement "but they don't care". "I am the only one - he then added in reference to his constituents and electors - not to have cooperated with the United Arab list and to preserve the land of Israel for their nephews.
