government air raids hit northwestern Syria on Wednesday
morning, striking positions of local anti-regime militias and
Qaedist groups while the latter responded with artillery fire
against government forces along the border between the regions
of Idlib, Aleppo and Hama. The report was provided by multiple
sources in the region of Idlib, which is outside government
control and the theater of an intense military campaign by
Moscow and Damascus against anti-regime militias.
Air raids are focusing on the districts of Maarrat an Numan, Kafranbel and Ariha, south of the main city Idlib. For their part, anti-regime militias are firing against the military airport of Abu Dhuhur, controlled by the troops of Damascus and against loyalist positions south-west of Aleppo. (ANSAmed).
