(ANSAmed) - NAPLES, NOVEMBER 25 - The MedaWeek Barcelona
2019, held November 20-22, was a large economic summit that
focused on enterprises wanting to create a network through
international cooperation mechanism.
Themes included cooperation between Europe and Africa to
invest in youth training and wealth creation, textile sector
development to meet the needs of of fashion with a focus on
sustainability, green economy development, wind and solar
energy, innovative finance solutions in Muslim countries,
support for female entrepreneurship and social economy values.
The initiative was organised by the ASCAME association of
Mediterranean area chambers of commerce and brought together
thousands of delegates from enterprises, consortiums, chambers
of commerce and international organisations.
Also present was the Malta Business network in partnership
with the Imprese del Sud think tank.
CEO Sergio Passariello said that the ''only together can we
build wide-ranging projects with a significant impact to respond
to the aggressive economic policies of such world powers as the
US and China in the search for a decent life for everyone, equal
opportunities, (a response to) climate change, citizens'
security and the need to build spaces compatible with the
quality of life.'' (ANSAmed).
