It grew instead in Estonia, up 7,7%, Lithuania, up 6,5% and Romania, up 6%. Germany maintained a 1,8% growth while Italy registered a more modest 0,6% increase, followed by France, up 0,5%.
Overall the Eurozone registered in the same period a 0,9% increase of the cost of labour against the 1,7% growth recorded in the first quarter of the year. The 28-member Union also registered a 0,9% increase while in the previous trimester the cost of labour had instead grown by 2%. (ANSAmed).
