Cops nab would-be bank robber, driven away by screaming nun
Hapless bandit wore mask but left fingerprints behind08 April, 18:02
Alessandro Ricatti, 30, wore a balaclava and brandished a knife, but he forgot to wear gloves the day he tried to hold up a bank in Milan.
The hapless bandit left his fingerprints on the bank teller's partition as he vaulted over, ordering her to open the safe.
When employees explained they couldn't open the safe because it was on a timer, he ran off, unable to handle the screams of a nun who was on the premises.
Unbeknownst to him, the safe would have opened two minutes later.
Police nabbed him at home two months later, because his fingerprints were on file.
