US economy created 192,000 jobs in March (ANSA) -New York, April 4 - U.S. Board of Labor Statistics reported that the country's unemployment rate remained unchanged at 6.7%, even as more Americans enter labor force.

The US added 192,000 new jobs in March, in line with expectations.

US Department of Labor reported a growth in private sector employment to 116.1 million people, topping pre-recession numbers for the first time. January and February predictions were updated, with 197,000 jobs created in February compared to a 175,000 estimate, and 144,000 jobs in January, compared to an earlier 129,000 estimate.
