US president spends over two hours with Italian head of State

Obama concludes talks with Napolitano, meets Renzi (ANSA) - Rome, March 27 - United States President Barack Obama left the presidential palace after a meeting and lunch with the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano Thursday and headed for talks with Italian Premier Matteo Renzi.

Obama gave a V sign, which symbolises peace for Americans, on his way out of the Quirinale palace.

He spent over two hours at the presidential residence, longer than expected.

Obama then went to the Renaissance Villa Madama for talks with Renzi.
