300 floating objects believed debris from Malaysian aircraft (ANSA) - Bangkok, March 27 - A Thai satellite revealed roughly 300 objects floating in the Indian Ocean 200 km southwest of the zone in which a search has been concentrated for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 that disappeared on March 8, the Website of ABC News in the United States reported on Thursday. The airplane is assumed to have plunged into the ocean about 2500 km from the Australian coast.

The objects found measure from two to 15 m in size, explained Anond Snidvongs, Director of Thailand's Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA).
