Workers shot as colleague opens fire in salary altercation (Updates previous) (ANSA) - Rome, March 17 - Police arrested a 57-year-old man on allegations of attempted murder after shooting two of his colleagues Monday in an electronics company near the northern Italian city of Lodi.

Giuseppe Riccardi reportedly went to the company, Technoelectric at Castiglione d'Adda, after receiving a letter from the firm related to his salary. Police say they believe he had a disagreement with an accountant at the company, who sustained bullet wounds to his leg and faces surgery.

A second employee was said to have been shot but not seriously injured and a third worker was taken to hospital and treated for shock but was not injured in the shooting.
