15 convicted in 'Ndrangheta vendetta (ANSA) - Vibo Valentia, March 17 - An Italian judge on Monday convicted 15 members of the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta mafia for a bloody vendetta stretching back 25 years.

One man was given life and the other 14 terms ranging from three to 30 years for the so-called 'Feud of the Woods' around this Calabrian city.

One alleged clan member was acquitted.

An 'Ndrangheta gang smashed in September 2012 was found with police weapons and insignia used for ambushing rivals in the long-running feud.

Police arrested four suspects in Calabria and the wealthy Brianza area north of Milan in a probe into the vendetta killings.
