Prosecutors investigate online blackmail-after-sex ring (ANSA) - Genoa, March 11 - Prosecutors in the northern city of Genoa are investigating reports of women offering virtual sex over Skype and then blackmailing the men in order to keep the images from going viral.

The women on the Internet video-phone service allegedly asked for up to 500 euros to keep quiet after enticing the men into virtual sex.

Prosecutors are investigating at least 40 incidents involving men aged 30-40. The women will be charged with extortion and attempted extortion, prosecutors said.
