CGIL chief calls for concrete talks between unions, leaders (ANSA) - Turin, March 7 - Susanna Camusso, the leader of Italy's largest trade union CGIL said Friday that institutions were at risk of taking their relationships with workers for granted.

Concrete measures need to be adopted to alleviate the economic difficulties faced by many today in the euro zone's third-largest economy, she said.

Camusso said the issues at stake could not be resolved by emails, adding that political leaders needed to take part in concrete discussions with unions representing millions of employees.
