Soccer: Code clear, Prandelli says after De Rossi dropped
'Don't want to be left in 10,' coach says after Icardi punch03 March, 15:45
"I'm the judge of certain acts. I don't want to get to the World Cup unprepared and find us with 10 on the field. That's why I can't accept reckless gestures," said Prandelli, who agreed the code of conduct with his players in November.
He recalled that he told the squad then that "I was going to be very attentive to (red-card offences), especially in games preceding call-ups. "The code is clear".
De Rossi's punch was caught on camera but not by the ref.
He faces a lengthy ban by Serie A's video-ref.
