'Humility not this govt's greatest virtue' says Bersani (see related) (ANSA) - Rome, February 25 - The newly anointed government of Premier Matteo Renzi will need help, former Democratic Party (PD) chairman Pier Luigi Bersani told Italy's Lower House on Tuesday.

"Humility may not be among its greatest virtues, but this government has issued a very serious challenge and is one that will need our help," Bersani said after Renzi's speech during the House debate ahead of a confidence vote.

"This help must be extended, once its objectives, which still need a little definition, are made clear".
