Student slips from school ledge in bid to avoid test (ANSA) - Milan, February 24 - A student slipped and fell while climbing down the outside of a school at Vigevano near Pavia after deciding she didn't feel like being tested Monday.

The girl, 13, lost her grip on a 5-metre-high ledge and missed a three-metre-high wall she was aiming at.

She hit the ground but escaped with a sprained ankle.

Police denied earlier reports of a suicide attempt, describing the incident as a "stunt".
