Botched robbery theory in death in Senegal (ANSA) - Arezzo, February 21 - Police arrested three hotel workers and a prostitute as part of an investigation into the death of an Italian-Canadian businessman in Senegal, according to local media reports Friday.

Investigators say that Gaetano Uva, 71, may have been killed in a botched robbery in his hotel room in Dakar.

The entrepreneur, who was originally from Canada, established himself as a businessman in the Tuscan town of Monte San Savino, near Arezzo.

Authorities are arranging for the body to be returned via Rome.
