Some 10,000 took part in 3rd day of demonstration, OUA says

Lawyers march in Rome to protest reforms (ANSA) - Rome, February 2014 - Some 10,000 lawyers have gathered in Rome Thursday to demonstrate in what is the third day of a planned demonstration against recent judicial reforms in the judicial sector and budget measures passed by outgoing Premier Enrico Letta. "This protest has turned out to be a success, there are at least 10,000 lawyers whp have gathered here in Rome from the whole of Italy", said lawyers grouping Organismo Unitario Dell'Avvocatura (OAU) president Nicola Marino who was leading the marching demonstrators. The OAU group had called its members to hold a three-days strike and abstain from participating in both civil and criminal hearings across the nation, in the February 18-20 period.
