Global recovery 'still vulnerable' says economy minister (ANSA) - Rome, February 19 - The global economic recovery "is still vulnerable", with "fragility and risks of a slowdown" persisting, Economy Minister Fabrizio Saccomanni said Wednesday.

He was speaking at a meeting of the Rome-based International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a United Nations agency. Nevertheless, the former deputy governor of the Bank of Italy said "economic prospects are more optimistic (than before), with global growth estimated at 3.7% in 2014 and 3.9% in 2015". He added that ministers of G20 countries are ready to do anything to strengthen recovery.
