'Dismay' at 'unacceptable' delay18 February, 13:17
(ANSA) - Rome, February 18 - Italy on Tuesday summoned Indian Ambassador Basant Kumar Gupta to voice its "dismay" at the "unacceptable delay" in trying two Italian marines accused of killing two Indian fishermen two years ago. Foreign Ministry Segretary-General Michele Valensise told Gupta the case "shows an Indian desire to draw out the affair beyond all limits".
New Delhi's Supreme Court earlier Tuesday postponed a decision on applying an anti-terrorism against anti-piracy marines Salvatore Girone and Massimiliano Latorre until Monday.
