Fiat Chrysler European sales down 1.8% in January
Italian-US group took 6.2% of market share

The Italian-US group sold 60,050 new vehicles across European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries in January 2014 compared to 61,178 vehicles in January 2013.
The negative performance followed a 2.3% rise in December 2013 over the same month the previous year.
FCA's European market share in January was 6.2%, down from 6.6% a year ago but up from 5.5% in December.
Further, sales were up "in some of the main European countries" including France, Britain and Spain, the company said.
