Italian Antitrust fines Ryanair and EasyJet over 1 mn euros (ANSA) - Rome, February 17 - The Italian Antitrust Authority fined Ryanair and EasyJet 850,000 euros and 200,000 euros, respectively, for lack of transparency in sales practices, the authority said on Monday.

The authority claims the airlines failed to provide essential information regarding optional flight-cancellation insurance policies, violating rules on consumer treatment.
