Milan stocks flat at Monday's session end (ANSA) - Milan, February 10 - Italy's leading financial index was flat on Monday, slowed by profit-taking after recent gains and a weak Wall Street on the eve of new Federal Reserve chief Janet Yellen's appearance before the United States Congress. The FTSE Mib dropped by 0.05% at the end of the day's trading to close at 19,682 points. At the European level, Madrid's IBEX 35 was down 0.89% to 9,982.70 and Frankfurt's DAX by 0.13% to 9,289.86, while Paris's CAC 40 rose 0.21% to 4,237.13 points and London's FTSE-100 rose by 0.30% to 6,591.55 points. On the Italian bond market, the spread between Italy's benchmark 10-year bond and its ultra-safe German counterpart dropped to 200 basis points with the yield on Italy's 10-year paper ending trading at 3.68%, its lowest level since 2006.
