Three million euros' worth of bogus notes seized

Naples banknote counterfeiting ring smashed (ANSA) - Rome, February 7 - Italian police on Friday smashed a gang of counterfeiters operating out of the back of a food store in Torre Annunziata near Naples.

Police arrested two people they caught in the act of printing counterfeit banknotes worth some three million euros. They also seized bogus police insignia and ID as well as fake season tickets for Serie A team Napoli's home games.
