Clicking 'like' on Facebook could mean jail for Parma man (ANSA) - Parma, January 30 - A man in the northern Italian city of Parma could be facing a jail term because he "liked" a controversial post on the social network site Facebook, local media reported Thursday.

The man clicked the "like" function on a comment that was later deemed to be offensive in the context of a heated argument between two other posters on Facebook, the Gazzetta di Parma reported.

The man could face a sentence ranging from six months to three years in jail, or a fine of 516 Euros, on a charge of complicity in aggravated defamation.
