Bomb explodes outside northern Italian court (ANSA) - Trento, January 28 - A bomb exploded Tuesday outside a court in the northern Italian city of Trento.

The 5 a.m. domestic-gas-tank blast, which broke windows but hurt no one, was not claimed by any group.

Police said it might have been the work of anti-capitalist or anarchist militants.

The target of the attack was a so-called 'surveillance' court that makes sure sentences are being carried out and rules on parole and bail.
