Top court says no extra alimony after luxury car deal
Ex-wife's decision to quit work undermines legal appeal

The woman, 47, had complained that her alimony from a 2008 divorce was not sufficient to maintain her lifestyle.
The couple had been married for 12 years and the ex-husband also paid support for the couple's 20-year-old daughter, who is not yet independent of her parents.
The Cassation Court rejected the woman's appeal, noting that her lease of a Mercedes SLK suggested she was not in financial straits.
It also noted that the woman had quit her job as a teacher of religion and was living with another man, both elements "confirming the adequacy of income at her disposal".
