'iPhone hashish' with Apple logo seized in Naples (ANSA) - Naples, January 8 - Ten bars of hashish the same size as an iPhone and bearing a counterfeit Apple logo have been found and seized by carabinieri in the Marianella area of Naples, in southern Italy. The drugs were discovered in the home of a 57-year-old man who also had 50 grams of marijuana divided into 25 separate packets, a 9mm-caliber pistol, 20 7.65-caliber cartridges and a precision scale in his bedroom wardrobe. The bars were each the size of a cellphone and weighed one kilogram total. The man, Vincenzo Agrillo, has been arrested and charged with receiving stolen goods, possession of illegal substances for the purchase of selling them, and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. The area where the drugs were found is believed by investigators to be under the sway of the Lo Russo clan. The pistol was later found to have been stolen in 2011 from a 33-year-old man from Giffoni Valle Piana (Salerno).

The retail value of the hashish is over 10,000 euros. Agrillo is being held in the Poggioreale jail in Naples.
