Camorra boss nabbed ahead of New Year's Eve party (ANSA) - Rome, December 30 - A boss from the powerful Naples-based Camorra mafia was arrested Monday in the nearby town of Castel Volturno ahead of a family New Year's Eve party. Police say Angelo Marino, 41, is the leader of the Marino clan, and has been on the run since July. Among the top 100 most dangerous fugitives in Italy, Marino is accused of a double homicide and participating in a bloody turf war in the Scampia neighborhood of Naples in 2004. With him in the home to ring in the new year were his girlfriend and five of his seven children, all asleep when police stormed the villa in the early hours.
