Six arrested in Milan for scamming seniors

Investigators say the band conducted at least 22 scams against seniors worth roughly 300,000 euros in just three months. The suspects allegedly posed as social workers sent by the city, or cleaning workers looking for work to gain access to the elderly.
Investigators say the suspects exploited victims by charging on their credit cards, using them to receive stolen goods and to conduct cocaine deals. All of the suspects are Italian citizens, but five out of six of are of Sinti gypsy origin.
