Italian finance police seize 3.5 tonnes of expired food
Pasta, fish, salumi all past sell-by date, some items rotting23 December, 19:12
Police said some of the food was rotting and was found in a wholesale cash-and-carry outlet. The items that were confiscated included fresh pasta, fish, ham, salami, flour, and tinned fruits.
The 35-year-old owner of the store is under investigation.
