Govt wins confidence vote over 'Save Rome' decree (ANSA) - Rome, December 23 - The government's so-called Save Rome decree won a confidence vote in the Lower House on Monday, with 340 votes in favour and 155 against.

The package features a hodgepodge of measures, including assistance for the cash-strapped capital's council.

Premier Enrico Letta's executive also faces a confidence vote in the Senate on Monday to approve its budget bill for 2014.
