'Pitchfork' leader vows demo if confidence vote goes ahead (see related) (ANSA) - Rome, December 10 - 'Pitchfork' protest leader Danilo Calvani said Tuesday his movement will bring millions to the streets of the nation's capital if MPs don't abstain from a planned confidence vote in parliament tomorrow.

''It will be a peaceful siege and we will share the route with law enforcement, but we are determined to stay until the politicians leave," Calvani said.

Italian Premier Enrico Letta has called for the confidence motion to consolidate his power after political reshuffling in Italy in the last two weeks.
