Italy's African-born minister pays homage to Mandela (ANSA) - Rome, December 6 - Italy's African-born Integration Minister Cecile Kyenge wrote the message "GOODBYE MADIBA" on her Twitter account, @ckyenge, to pay homage to South African leader and Nobel-peace-prize-laureate Nelson Mandela, who died late Thursday.

Mandela was often called Madiba, which is his clan name, as well as "Tata" or father. Congo-born Kyenge is Italy's first black cabinet minister.
