"Tomorrow will be a very important day in my life," tweeted Vidal, who joined the Turin club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011 and has been a stand-out in two straight scudetto-winning campaigns, scoring 22 goals in 77 games.
The new contract, reportedly worth five billion euros plus bonuses, will keep Vidal in Turin until 2017 with an option for another year, sources familiar with the deal said.
Juve are top of Serie A, three points ahead of AS Roma.
They will qualify for the Champions League last 16 if they draw with Galatasaray in Istanbul on December 10.
