Saccomanni says Italy may see 'extraordinary' budget revenue

Anticipated new revenues will include payments owing from tax dodgers, capital due from abroad and asset revaluations, he said.
"The measure does not account for extraordinary revenues that the government plans to build, such as those associated with the revaluation of assets from the Bank of Italy, the repatriation of capital from abroad, as well as income from (recouping evaded taxes) and tax avoidance," Saccomanni told the Senate and House budget committees. Earlier this month, Premier Enrico Letta introduced his government's budget bill, which is now under review.
