The suspects are also charged with illegal asset transfer, usury, extortion, illegal competition through use of threats and violence, and illegal possession of arms.
Investigators say they even hired a boxer to carry out reprisals on rival groups.
Police also seized 30 million euros worth of assets. The people arrested are associated with the faction of the Casalesi clan believed headed by Antonio Iovine and particularly active in the slot-machine business in game parlors and bars.
The Camorra mafia clan was exposed by writer and anti-mafia campaigner Roberto Saviano, who has been under round-the-clock police protection since his 2006 book Gomorrah brought down death threats from the Casalesi.
Gomorrah was turned into a 2008 film that won second prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
