(ANSA) - Milan, October 17 - A new probe will be opened in
Milan before the end of the year into Silvio Berlusconi in
relation to the case that saw the ex-premier sentenced to seven
years in jail for paying for sex with an underage
prostitute and for abusing his power to try to cover up the
affair, judicial sources said Thursday.
Two of the centre-right leader's lawyers, Niccolò Ghedini
and Piero Longo, and several witnesses who gave evidence at two
trials related to the case will also be probed, the sources
Berlusconi was convicted in June and three people were
convicted a month later of providing prostitutes for parties at
the ex-premier's home near Milan in a separate trial.
