ECB chief says Italy needs reform but not shaking eurozone
Greater credibility now says Draghi02 October, 16:59
On Wednesday, government crisis in Italy was brought to an end - at least temporarily - after a parliamentary confidence vote confirmed a teetering right-left ruling coalition under Premier Enrico Letta.
Draghi said the message that markets are sending Italy and other politically fragile countries is clear - more stability and reform - but that greater pressure for both should come from within for the good of the countries concerned.
Draghi was speaking at a press conference after an ECB Governing Council meeting in Paris.
