Letta downplays govt-crisis risk
'Will persuade everyone on agenda priorities'26 September, 19:04
"I'm coming back to Rome tomorrow and I'm sure I'll be able to persuade everyone about the correct priority of the issues on our agenda," Letta said at New York's Columbia University.
Letta said earlier he wants to talk to the parties in his left-right coalition to make sure they will continue to back it.
He is expected to present an agenda for parliament to vote on.
Berlusconi's centre-right Forza Italia party is gearing to quit parliament if Letta's centre-left Democratic Party votes to enforce the ban resulting from the three-time premier's August 1 conviction for dodging taxes at his media empire.
