Berlusconi's fiancée 'underaged' when she fell for him
Pascale says 'chased' ex-premier for love24 September, 17:44
In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine's Italian edition, Pascale, 28, said the couple will wed when his divorce from Veronica Lario becomes final.
Berlusconi is currently appealing a sentence for paying for sex with an underage prostitute called Ruby in a case that revealed he was maintaining a stable of young women to attend alleged sex parties.
"I was underage when I got it in my head to get to him," said Pascale, who was interviewed in the couple's palazzo in Arcore where they have been living since Berlusconi was definitively convicted of tax fraud last month.
The interview comes as Berlusconi tries to burnish his image in the face of a wave of political problems related to his fraud conviction.
Next month, he must choose whether to spend one year under house arrest or perform community service as his penalty.
The Senate is also debating whether he should be ejected from his seat because of the conviction.
Pascale says that several years ago, when she began to chase the married Berlusconi, three-time premier of Italy, he told her she was "ruthless".
After they fell in love, she says he fretted because Berlusconi, 76, was old enough to be her father.
After he separated from Lario, with whom he has three children, Berlusconi and Pascale decided to become engaged during the Christmas season in 2011.
"I tried, I wooed (him), I fell in love and I got engaged," said Pascale.
