Roughly 1,000 police officers will be on duty for crowd management. The city is providing 90 buses to move pilgrims around the airport, and three special trains have been assigned to pilgrims. "Cagliari is about to attract the attention of the whole world," said Mayor Massimo Zedda. "The city is involved in every sector in order to prepare the best welcome for the holy father and the faithful. We ask everyone to please understand the traffic delays".
