Pope Francis calls Jesus 'door to salvation' on Twitter (ANSA) - Vatican City, August 27 - Pope Francis on Tuesday posted two messages on the social network Twitter, appealing to his followers to show compassion and calling Jesus the 'door to salvation'. ''Jesus is the door that leads to salvation, and is an open door to everyone,'' the Pope wrote in a first 'Tweet'.

''Let's let Jesus enter our life, leaving behind selfishness and indifference and closure toward others,'' the Pope wrote in a second message.
